About Us

Mountain Valley was started in 1964 with a beautiful golf course that offers 18 challenging holes.  The first nine holes opened in 1966 with the second nine holes opening in 1968.  Our greens are Bermuda grass and the course includes water and sand trap opportunities. 

The club is a private member owned country club and very intimate in nature.  Tucked away in the Mountain Valley addition that borders on the city limits of both Joshua and Burleson, we are conveniently located only twelve miles from Fort Worth on the north and seven miles from Cleburne on the south. 

MVCC is open Tuesday through Sunday and our hours of operation are as follows:

Pro Shop

Opens at 7AM and offers drinks, snacks and golf merchandise.  Range balls can be purchased as well. 

Dining Room

Opens for breakfast at 7:30AM and remains open until 2PM for lunch.  Friday night buffet is served beginning at 6pm.

19th Hole

Opens at 11AM and offers your favorite beverage and food may be ordered from the dining room.

Operations Manager

Available at the club Monday through Friday from 8AM until 1PM. Appointments can be made for later times or weekends.

Golf Carts

Members are allowed to own their own carts. We also offer cart rental and cart barn rental when needed.

Room Rental

The club has a beautiful dining room that may be reserved for private parties and other social events. It seats 125 people comfortably.  We also offer a more intimate area for smaller groups.

Directions

From Fort Worth, take I35W South to TX-174 (exit 37) toward Cleburne.  Continue approximately 6 miles on TX-174 to Clubhouse Drive.  Turn left at the light onto Clubhouse Drive and across the lakes. The clubhouse is located on the left with parking on the right.

From Cleburne, take TX-174 toward Joshua.  Turn right at the light onto Clubhouse Drive and proceed .6 miles to 391 Clubhouse Drive.  The clubhouse is located on the left with parking on the right.
